Farragut Band Booster News

February Band Booster Meeting Rescheduled

Due to closure of Knox County Schools on Monday, February 5th, the Band Boosters Meeting will be rescheduled to Monday, February 12th. Time is 7:00 pm in the Band Room. 

Band Boosters Meeting Rescheduled

Due to the cancellation of classes by Knox County Schools, the Band Boosters meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 16th is rescheduled for Monday, January 22nd.

Officer Elections

Elections for officers to serve in the 2018-2019 school year will be held in the regular monthly meeting of the Farragut Band Boosters to be held on February 5, 2018 in the Farragut High School Band Room.

Nominations of interested individuals may be made to the Farragut Band Booster Nominating Committee no later than January 20, 2018. Names and email addresses for the Nominating Committee are listed below.

Amended By-Laws

In an annual meeting of the Farragut Band Boosters held on December 14, 2017 at the Farragut High School auditorium, amendments to the corporate by-laws were approved on a vote of 47 in favor and zero against.

Farragut Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting Farragut High School Band programs including Marching Band, Concert Band, Color Guard, Indoor Percussion and Jazz Band.  Donations along with various fundraising activities throughout the year enable this support.  All roles & positions within the Band Boosters are staffed by volunteers who receive no monetary or in-kind compensation for their time & efforts.  100% of the funds donated go directly to these programs and donations are tax-deductible.  

Our Impact

The Farragut High School Band offers an experience which creates opportunities to refine musical capabilities, grow teamwork and leadership skills, travel, and learn through truly unique experiences.  The programs impact and enrich students across all grade levels and all capabilities.  

Through your generous donations, we are able to provide a richer and more meaningful band experience for the students in the Farragut High School Band Program.

Pancake Breakfast

The Farragut Band is having a Pancake Breakfast this Saturday, August 5th from 8 am - 10 am at the Aubrey's Cedar Bluff (corner of Cedar Bluff and Middlebrook Pike).
